Eurofins announces strategic partnership with Gold Standard Diagnostics

Eurofins Technologies announces that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Gold Standard Diagnostics, a developer and manufacturer of fully-automated diagnostic instruments and assays for various test methods including ELISA (Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay), chemiluminescence, microarrays and agglutination. Initially, the partnership will bring together Gold Standard’s industry-leading ELISA-based instruments (Thunderbolt®, The BOLTTM) and Eurofins Technologies rapidly-expanding diagnostic test kit portfolio for the Food, Environmental and Animal Health testing markets.
The partnership with Gold Standard Diagnostics marks a major milestone in the rapid development of Eurofins Technologies product portfolio. GSD’s instrument platforms and assays have become the ‘gold standard’ for many of the largest hospital, food testing and third-party reference laboratories in the industry. Gold Standard Diagnostics will be the standard platform for Eurofins Technologies ELISA-based food testing kits including food pathogens, allergens, mycotoxins, veterinary drug residues, and animal health kits. This combination will allow Eurofins Technologies to provide one of the most complete, integrated, and innovative test offerings in the market.
