AbraMag mRNA Magnetic Purification Kit, 10-test

The AbraMag mRNA Magnetic Purification Kit is designed to purify mRNA from total RNA, giving high yields of polyadenylated messenger RNA while leaving ribosomal RNA (rRNA) and other RNA behind. It provides buffers and magnetic beads for 10 samples. Total RNA is added to AbraMag mRNA purification magnetic beads, which are coated with oligo(dT)25. Poly-A mRNA binds to the beads in the presence of the Binding Solution. A magnet is used to secure the beads, with mRNA attached. Remaining rRNA and other non-targets are washed away in a series of two wash steps, and mRNA is eluted and transferred to a new tube. AbraMag Magnetic Beads are superparamagnetic, non-aggregating iron oxide particles (or ‘microspheres’) for capturing or purifying targets such as proteins, antigens, antibodies, DNA/RNA, cells, and more.
